Diering posted his record of 2:06.85 to earn a bronze in the 200 m breaststroke at the 2008 FINA World Short Course Championships in Manchester, England. Diering qualified for the men's 200 m breaststroke at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, by breaking a new South African record and clearing a FINA A-standard entry time of 2:11.88 from the national championships. Diering lowered his African record to 2:10.39 to take an eighth spot for the semifinals in the preliminary heats, just 0.11 of a second ahead of his teammate Neil Versfeld. Followed by the next morning's session, Diering failed to qualify for the final, as he finished his semifinal run in twelfth place with a time of 2:10.21. Shortly after the Olympics, Diering edged out Tunisia's Oussama Mellouli by nearly two seconds to claim the 200 m breaststroke title at the African Swimming Championships in Johannesburg with a time of 2:16.00. ==References== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「William Diering」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
